Allie Marcel was born in Seattle Washington. Music was always a big influence in his life. He started learning piano and guitar at the age of 5 and began performing when he was 11.
He enjoys playing solo guitar and singing as well as other formats. He started recording in the 80's with success in the New Age era while performing in several bands in the Bay area. He's been working with blues, jazz, and rock shows in Sacramento since 1994.
Allie has played several events for the City of Sacramento Visitor's Bureau including New Year's Eve in Old Sacramento in 2005 thru 2007 and he will appear again in 2008 at the Old Fireworks Extravanganza. He has also performed at the Sacramento Gold Rush Days, the Garden Party Community Garden, Sacramento Grape Escape, 3-Bridges Run, League of Cities Casino Night 2007, and many corporate functions.
Allie has mastered solo fingerstyle and vocal sets for easy listening and a perfect back-drop to any occasion. Allie's cast of performing and studio musicians let's him offer a wide range of options. He can provide live music for all occasions including weddings and performances from solo or duo to full 5-piece dance band. A world of music aimed to please all.
